I don't recall exactly when it started, but at some point it became commonplace for individuals and companies to believe that if they said the same untrue statement enough times it would become reality. For some reason it strikes me that this phenonenom began during the first Clinton administration. People don't take personal responsibility for what they say.
Joe Cotrell has to be one of the worst defensive backs in the history of the nfl. The man simply cannot catch. The man tries to make big hits and ends up missing and landing with his face in the turf. Equally unbelievable is that his coach irrationally has faith in the man and refuses to replace Cotrell with even a marginally competent player. One explanation is that Cotrell is blackmailing the coach. Another is that the coach has a daughter and thinks Cotrell would make a good son in law. If the coach is terminated, look no further than to Cotrell for the reason.
It came as a huge surprise to me that there are people who watch the nfl draft intently as it unfolds. Amazing stuff. Guys were being interviewed about why they had not been drafted already and amazingly none of them cried. Maybe they did when the camera went off.
You are talking to a huge Miller and Stewart fan. Am I one of the few Americans to enjoy watching the Dennis Miller show? Didn't he use to be funnier? Why is Jon Stewart on only 4 nights of the week? Why isn't Rob Cordruy on more frequently? Stewart had Miller on as a guest last week. What a riot. Stewart was speechless during Miller's unpaused diatribe.
What made that loser think he could win anyway? Where did he get that wife? I wonder how she would have redecorated the White House. I think if he could see Teresa now, the deceased Senator Heinz would run to the closest bathroom and hurl his brains out.
