Jihad - Civil War - Religious Ethnic War - Shi'i/Shi'a/Shiite Regional Control?

I've had a little time to begin to study some of the goings on over in what used to be referred to as the middle east and found a huge mess.

And I have been doing some reading:

Somehow it doesn't look like the United States has stirred up this hornet's nest.  It looks like the Shi'is/Shia's/Shiites want to eliminate the Sunni's and other religious and ethnic groups and control the countries they do not control now.  Over there it is not a war on terror, it is a war on Sunni's.  What have they done?  Why do they have be eliminated?

  4. Yo jocko....it was a wonderful Thanksgiving day with family and friends. It appears that poor jocko has neither and he spent Thanksgiving alone drinking and blogging. Perhaps one of us should invite him to spend future holidays with our families even though jocko is a jackass.


    Yo jocko....you are invited to spend Christmas with my family. We begin with dinner around five on Christmas even and then go to Church. We usually have about 10 for Christmas Eve. Christmas day is spent at home and more relatives come over so dinner is usally for about 14, plenty of room for you. More relatives come the day after, still plenty of room for you. You are invited for the whole deal jocko. You will like it. Several of the relatives enjoy debating heads off of pins.
