4.  ERNIE ELS - a slightly more ratcheted back version of MOS.  Ernie make the rest of us appear statesmenlike.

5.  SUSAN MURPHY MILANO - a woman on a good mission who has a fine sense of humor.

Taliban leaders said on Sunday their fighters would kill 22 remaining South Korean hostages if the Afghan government did not release rebel prisoners by a new deadline of 0730 GMT on Monday, a spokesman said.  Taliban spokesman Qari Mohammad Yousuf said the deadline had been set by the Taliban leadership council, headed by elusive leader Mullah Mohammad Omar, giving the threat added weight.  Little does Omar know that he has NORTH Koreans so the joke is on him.

The kidnappers killed the leader of the Korean group on Wednesday, but several further deadlines have passed without the rebels carrying out their threat to kill the remaining hostages.  The kidnappers have been tied up meeting with Minimart and Dunkin Donuts franchise salespeople for the last few days.

"Since the talks between us, the Kabul administration and Korean government have reached deadlock and they are not honest ... hence, we will start killing the hostages if they do not start releasing our prisoners by tomorrow at 12 o'clock," Yousuf told Reuters by telephone from an unknown location.  Wait a second Yousuk lies where he is and says they are not honest.  What kind of fermented camel piss is that jackass drinking?

Afghan President Hamid Karzai has previously ruled out any deal with the Taliban after coming under harsh criticism for freeing five rebel prisoners in exchange for the release of an Italian hostage in March.  In his first comments on the latest hostage case, Karzai condemned the kidnapping, but did not say whether any deal might be possible.  "What's a dozen Koreans in the grand scheme of things.  We will be making fortunes selling day old donuts in the US."

"Hostage-taking and the abuse of foreign guests, especially women, is against Islam and Afghan culture and the perpetration of this heinous act on our soil is in total contempt of our Islamic and Afghan values," a spokesman quoted him as saying.  Is it me or are the what is Islam and what isn't rule changing on the fly?  Do these sand flea bitten jackasses even know what they say today's alleged rules are?a

Pope Benedict on Sunday called the kidnapping a "grave violation of human dignity that clashes with every elementary norm of civility and rights and gravely offends divine law.  Cardinal Pepperoni, order me a couple of pizzas and step on it."

Ghazni's governor, Mirajuddin Pathan, said the government did not want to use force to rescue the hostages. "We have no plan of attack. We are gathering afghans to cover the bodies if throwing them over the heads of the kidnappers doesn't work.

In addition to Afghan forces, foreign troops are also stationed in Ghazni.

Korean special envoy Baek Jong-chun met Karzai on Sunday to discuss ways to end the hostages' ordeal.  "Let us replace them with dvd players, you ragheads hardly have any of those." 

The Taliban are also holding one German and four of his Afghan colleagues, abducted from a neighboring province a day before the Koreans. Another German seized alongside them was later found dead with gunshot wounds.  The Germans are extremely pissed about the lack of beer and bratwurst and are threatening to undress and parade their corpulent bods.

Today could be the day for Barry.  I sure hope so.  That jackass Vick has given me more appreciation and perspective when it comes to Barry.

I never heard of such a thing as a "rape rack" until this Vick indictment.  Fortunately it looks like the guy in his posse who pleaded down is going to testify against Vick which should land Vick in his own rape rack in a nice use friendly southern state prison.

 

In a flap that has shifted the Democratic 2008 presidential race to a more negative tone, Barack Obama on Friday said Hillary Clinton was showing bad judgment for refusing to consider a dramatic change in U.S. foreign policy and staying married to Bill while living a lesbian lifestyle.

Visiting the early voting state of Iowa, Obama kept up the attack on Clinton in a dispute that has lasted all week over whether the next president to be elected in November 2008 should be prepared to meet leaders of hostile nations like Iran, Cuba, Syria, North Korea and Venezuela.

"So often in Washington, experience means doing what we've been doing over and over and over again. Well, to me that's not experience if what you're doing isn't working," Obama told a crowd on a farm in Adel, a field of corn behind him.  "She acts like a lesbian, smells like a lesbian and pretends to be happily married to man who stays as far away from her as possible.  That act has gotten old."

"It's bad judgment and if you want to show good judgment, then you've got to be open to changing the way we do things in order to get different outcomes," he said.  "It's time for Hillary to come out of the closet and be proud of her gayness.  Look at the ratings the Chuck and Larry movie is getting.  America will accept a gay losing presidential candidate."

At a campaign event in West Virginia, Hillary stressed that her diplomacy would be more expansive than that of the Bush White House, saying "we will get back to working with other countries."  She also said that she is considering Bill's long standing request for a three way "as long as it's Bill and another woman that I pick."  Rosie O'Donnell perhaps?

The Obama camp put up an advertisement on news sites on Friday in Iowa and New Hampshire that criticizes Clinton for her initial vote in support of the Iraq war and asks the question, "Ready for a New Direction?"  A Clinton campaign spokesman said a loss might be a good thing for Hillary allowing her to explore her sexuality.

"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal  
immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:

 I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a  
large southern California high school which is designated a Title  
1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic  
and income levels.

Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell  
Gardens , Huntington Park , etc., where these students are  
protesting, are also Title 1 schools.

Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program.  
When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and  
roll -- but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices 
that would make a Marriott proud.  The waste of this food is  
monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash  
uneaten. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

 I estimate that well over 50% of these students  are obese or at  
least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell  
phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed  
teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend  
class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for  
babysitters or having family watch their kids. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT  
WORK)

I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing  
funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need  
for anything; my budget was already substantial..  I ended up  
buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of  
which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the  
appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to  
have a free education in America . (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute  
teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students  
here in the country less then 3 months who raised so much hell  
with the female teachers, calling them "Putas" whores and throwing  
things that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical, free education, free food, day care etc., etc, etc.  
Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country  
but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants  
contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and  
housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some  
time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.

Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical  
costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools,  
overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc, etc. For me, I'll pay more  
for tomatoes.

We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster  
because we won't have the guts to enforce it.
Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily  
leave and return?

There are many hardworking Hispanic/American citizens that  
contribute to our country and many that I consider my true  
friends. We should encourage and accept those Hispanics who have  
done it the right and legal way.

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third- 
world culture that does not value education, that accepts children  
getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses  
to assimilate, and an American culture that has become so weak and  
worried about "politically correctness" that we don't have the  
will to do anything about it.


If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, forward this to  
everyone you know.

CHEAP LABOR? Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?

Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage.

Consumers don't want expensive produce.

Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs.

But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a  
myth, a farce, and a lie. there is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children.  
He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour.  At that wage, with six  
dependents, he pays no income tax,  yet at the end of the year, if  
he files an Income Tax  Return,  he gets an "earned income credit"  
of up to $3,200 free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps.

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for  
SSI. Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare.  All of  
this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or  
homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed 
material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour  
in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after  
paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and  
trash clean-up.

Cheap labor?  YEAH RIGHT!    Wake up people.

 

THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ADDRESSING TO THE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES  FOR EITHER PARTY. 'AND WHEN THEY LIE TO US AND DON'T DO AS THEY  SAY, WE SHOULD REPLACE THEM AT ONCE!'

The American engineer asks, "I am very curious. Please tell me more about this wall". The Genie explains, "Well, it's 5000 feet high, 500 feet thick and completely surrounds these countries...it's virtually impenetrable. Now what is your wish?"

Increasingly frustrated by the Iraqi government’s failure to meet a series of defined benchmarks, President George W. Bush today proposed sending a group of giant robots known as the Transformers™ to Iraq.

Aides to the president were vague as to when Mr. Bush arrived at his new Transformers™ strategy, but sources say that he devised the plan last week, shortly after a surprise visit to a multiplex in Bethesda, Maryland.

In announcing his new proposal, the president authorized an $85 billion defense contract to Hasbro, believed to be the largest military contract of its kind ever awarded to a toy company.

At a White House press conference, the president expressed his confidence that the Transformers™ would succeed where the Iraq government had failed.

“I’d like to see what would happen if al-Qaeda tried to attack one of our tanks, and instead the tank got up on its legs and turned out to be a robot and started shooting at them,” Mr. Bush said. “That would be so cool.”

But even as the president announced his new plan for victory in Iraq, congressional critics questioned the wisdom of dispatching Transformers™ to the war-torn nation.

“A tank that can turn into a giant robot is awesome, but it’s not an exit strategy,” said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV).

Responding to his critics, Mr. Bush said that he would announce an exit strategy later this week after consulting with his newest advisor, J.K. Rowling.

“She has experience at ending things,” Mr. Bush said.

The federal government incurred a deficit of $123 billion for the first nine months of fiscal year 2007, CBO estimates, $83 billion less than the shortfall recorded during the same period in 2006. Revenues have risen by more than 7 percent, whereas outlays have grown by less than 3 percent. Both rates of growth are noticeably smaller than the rates of increase in fiscal years 2005 and 2006, which averaged about 13 percent for revenues and close to 8 percent for outlays.
