Pelosi Proposes Winfall Tax on Stock Market Profits Including Your Retirment 401K's and IRA's

Madam speaker Nancy Pelosi wants to
put a Windfall Tax on all stock market profits (including Retirement fund, 401Ks
and Mutual Funds! Alas, it is true - all to help the 12 Million Illegal
Immigrants and other unemployed Minorities!
This know nothing liar needs to be packed into a one way
rocket to the black hole of the universe...of course she might like that!

are we in trouble... This woman is frightening. Take special note of the last
paragraph. Is she really this whacked out?
Nancy Pelosi condemned the new record highs of the stock market as "just another example of Bush policies helping the rich get richer". "First Bush cut taxes for the rich and the economy has rebounded with new record low unemployment rates, which only means wealthy employers are getting even wealthier at the expense of the underpaid working class".
She went on to say "Despite the billions of dollars being spent in Iraq our economy is still strong and government tax revenues are at all time highs. What this really means is that business is exploiting the war effort and working Americans, just to put money in their own pockets".
When questioned about recent stock market highs she responded "Only the rich benefit from these record highs. Working Americans, welfare recipients, the unemployed and minorities are not sharing in these obscene record highs". There is no question these windfall profits and income created by the Bush administration need to be taxed at 100% rate and those dollars redistributed to the poor and working class". Profits from the stock market do not reward the hard work of our working class who, by their hard work, are responsible for generating these corporate profits that create stock market profits for the rich. We in congress will need to address this issue to either tax these profits or to control the stock market to prevent this unearned income t o flow to the rich."
When asked about the fact that over 80% of all Americans have investments in mutual funds, retirement funds, 401Ks, and the stock market she replied "That may be true, but probably only 5% account for 90% of all these investment dollars. That's just more "trickle down" economics claiming that if a corporation is successful that everyone from the CEO to the floor sweeper benefit from higher wages and job security which is ridiculous". "How much of this 'trickle down' ever gets to the unemployed and minorities in our county? None, and that's the tragedy of these stock market highs."
"We democrats are going to address this issue after the election when we take control of the congress. We will return to the 60% to 80% tax rates on the rich and we will be able to take at least 30% of all current lower income tax payers off the rolls and increase government income substantially." We need to work toward the goal of equalizing income in our country and at the same time limiting the amount the rich can invest."
When asked how these new tax dollars would be spent, she replied : "We need to raise the standard of living of our poor, unemployed and minorities. For example, we have an estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help along with millions of unemployed minorities. Stock market windfall profits taxes could go a long ways to guarantee these people the standard of living they would like to have as 'Americans'."

I've got plenty of differences with some republican politicians but when I read this kind of stuff I just shake my head in disbelief. The dems have gone so far left they reek of cigars, rum and revolucion. Viva tia Fidel.

I'm a white, female, Christian, hard line conservative, born and raise in the city of Detroit, I was in grade school there when busing started, I lived accross the street from the blind pig when the riot started. I have seen first hand what the entitlment mentality will do to people.
This is what I wrote on the forward to the Pelosi quotes...
The plan Washington has for our future follows. I have written some of my thoughts for your consideration. I don't care if you are a Democrat or a Republican, male or female, black, white, yellow, green or brown...if you are a LEGAL working American think this over......
1. We are average joes (part of the 80% invested in the stock market), we are by no means rich, but have done fairly well. It's our retirement, since they have robbed our social security trust and handed it over to those it was not intended for, we won't have it. Now, if they succeeds in taxing market profits at the 100% rate to redistribute to "the poor and unemployed", we won't have that either....we will have to become "one of the poor" to partly benefit from our investment along with those who have squandered their opportunity thru entitlement or are here illegally.
2. the economy being strong and American businesses making a profit is wrong?? That IS why they are in business, isn't it?? I haven't seen our folks in Washington turn down any raises...in fact they just voted themselves another one...
3. why should welfare recipients share in the stock market profits if they have not invested?? And how do they know minorities are not invested. Is it their opinion that all (insert minority here) are to dumb or on welfare to make any money in the stock market??? Do you know ANY successful people who fall into the "minority class"??
4. WHAT IS WRONG WITH INVESTMENT INCOME???? THAT"S CAPITALISM!!!!!
5 hmm....know any politicians that aren't rich??? Seems like the "underpaid working class" ranges anywhere from $7.00/hr with no benes to $40/hr with full benefit packages. Just what is underpaid anyway?? Is it someone who spends beyond their means...well, ok then, I guess we all really are underpaid....except politicians, they don't have a limit to their means, if they run out, they just take more from us,, that helps keep us "underpaid" so they can help us...
6. Equalizing income and limiting potential.....isn't that a fancy way of saying communism?? Ask the people in one of the communist counties today how well that's working for them....don't ask the government, (politicians) they are the ones with all the money, they think it's great!....of course they do help the poor....isn't it amazing!!! they still have some!!! (poor, that is)
7. They want to raise the standard of living for 12 million illegal immigrants in our country who need our help...call me heartless, but I'm getting a bit weary of paying for people who violate our laws, exploit our services (that most of us can't even afford!!), hate our people and don't even have the decency to learn our language, and NO I don't want to press one for English!!
8. Maybe we should all quit our jobs, rip up our birth certificates, kick back on the porch and wait for that bunch in Washington to rescue us from ourselves. Unless YOU are poor, unemployed, a minority, or illegal...GET TO WORK CAUSE THEY NEED YOUR MONEY TO PAY FOR THESE FOLKS!!!!

The comments were not made. It comes from the Dems stand last year about taxing the huge profits of the oil companies. Look at Snopes.com. Even one of these folks here gave you a source and that didn't have them at all.

My husband and I are hard working Americans-legal Americans,real Americans, born right here in the good old USA, we live according to the law of the land, we believe in the freedom to work, save, invest, we are proud of our Flag, (those that burn it should be escorted out of America), don't work again escorted out, return all illegal immigrants back to there home land, send all immigrants in our prisons back where they came from! English the only language here, learn it or leave. Why should any illegal person recieve any benefits while those who have worked all there life be taxed and penalized for it!!! Americans wake up, we do not need to be taxed any more, we are taxed enough!! Close our borders, take care of our own Americans first!!!! Forget taking care of "ILLEGALS" of any kind, get the word, illegal??? They shouldn't be here! Make room for the real Americans! I'm a registered Libertarian, and am quite a bit to the right of center politically, but am appalled that the Bush "borrow and spend" gang is getting away with calling themselves conservatives. This sort of made up bs is exactly what got them in the White House, and I'm surprised that those of you that fall for this kind of junk could even find your way to the polling place.............course, you probably didn't given the honesty of our recent elections.
