The House of Representatives today sustained President Bush's veto of an emergency war spending bill, as the White House and lawmakers turned their attention to negotiating new legislation to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The 222-203 vote to override Bush's veto fell far short of the two-thirds needed, effectively killing the $124 billion supplemental appropriations bill.

Every once in a while I just have to be serious.  This story seriously pissed me off.  One reads so much democrat bullshit and this sort of thing happens all the time and the democrats think it's OK.  Well, this dead Senator doesn't think it's OK.

I was tempted to write on this subject the following day.  However, I thought it my be interesting to see if I heard it referred to anywhere at all.  When I heard it I was shocked.  Chris Rock called President Bush a "retard" on national television is NBC can be called that.  A week goes by and it is mentioned nowhere in the media.

Suppose Dick Cheney said "Hillary Clinton is a retard".  Would Congress have already issued subpoenas for his sworn testimony on this subject?  Hell YES.

The media would be all over that like flies on shit.  (I know, the more apt analogy would be shit on shit - but that is a little confusing).  I was pissed of when I heard it last week and the hyposcrisy and double standards piss me off a week later.  I KNEW it was not be acknowledged, much less condemned.

In the beginning, God created heaven and earth.Shortly thereafter God was in receipt of a notice to show cause why he shouldn't be cited for failure to file an environmental impact statement. He was granted a temporary planning permit for the project, but was stymied by a Cease and Desist Order for the earthly part.

At the hearing, God was asked why he began his earthly project in the first place. He replied that he just liked to be creative.

Then God said, "Let there be light."

Officials immediately demanded to know how the light would be made. Would it require strip mining? What about thermal pollution?

God explained that the light would come from a huge ball of fire, and provisional approval was granted with the proviso that no smoke would result.

The authorities demanded the issuance of a building permit, and (to conserve energy) required that the light be left off half the time. God agreed, saying he would call the light "Day" and the darkness "Night." Officials replied that they were only interested in protecting the environment, not in semantics.

God said, "Let the earth bring forth green herb and such as many seed."

The EPA agreed, so long as only native seed was used.

Then God said, "Let waters bring forth creeping creatures having life; and the fowl that may fly over the earth."

Officials pointed out this would require approval from the Department of Game coordinated with the Heavenly Wildlife Federation and the Audubongelic Society.

Everything went along smoothly until God declared that he intended to complete the project in six days.

Officials informed God it would take at least 200 days to review his many waiver applications and environmental impact statements. After that there would have to be a public hearing, and then there would be a 10-12 month probationary period before....

At this point, God created Hell.

Gore takes yet another opportunity to act like a dope by using 9/11 on 9/10/2006 for political gain.  At least as of 6 pm EDT even Hillary Clinton has not yet done so.  What a loser.  Why not...Al....go for it.  Be a perennial loser.  Jackass.

Gore spoke to reporters in Sydney, where he was promoting the local premiere of his documentary on global warming.

"I haven't completely ruled out running for president again in the future but I don't expect to," Gore said before the Sunday night premiere of An Inconvenient Truth.

"I offer the explanation not as an effort to be coy or clever. It's just the internal shifting of gears after being in politics almost 30 years. I hate to grind the gears," he added.

Gore, who lost the presidency to President Bush in 2000 in disputed circumstances, said there was no doubt the impact of global warming would be best addressed through the power of the presidency, but making a documentary was second best.

Gore's renewed popularity and movie tours across the United States have spurred speculation of a White House run in 2008. He has previously repeatedly denied such intentions.

The documentary, which Gore narrates, is critical of the United States and Australia for refusing to adopt the Kyoto Protocol for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Prime Minister John Howard, a friend and ally of Bush, said he would not meet Gore during his Australian visit and would not heed his advice to sign up to Kyoto.

"I don't take policy advice from films," Howard told reporters.

The left is slinging a lot of accusations of misdeeds by President Bush.  Despite the mudslinging there is no legal action of any type pending against President Bush.  Meanwhile President Clinton's permanent record is forever marred by the legal consequences of his misdeeds.  Isn't it strange that more airtime and writing space is given to bald accusations than final legal consequences.  Could it be that there is an agenda out there? 

The truth is that the Islamo-Nazi's love anything that might weaken President Bush.  Why...you might ask?  President Bush is the leading figure in stopping them in their tracks.  Luckily for them, the Islamo Nazi's have allies right here in the United States....the democrat left.

Let's put this all together.  Islamo-Nazi's hate Jews and vow to exterminate Jews.  The democrat left supports the Islamo-Nazi's and claims to support Israel and Jews.  How can the democrat left have it both ways...."We love Israel and the Jews we have just helped our Islamo-Nazi friends exterminate."

Presidents who do something wrong suffer the consequences.  Bill Clinton's 5 year suspension in Arkansas expired in January but he has not sought reinstatement.  Why hasn't he taken action to clean up this blot on his record? 

Clinton Disbarred From Supreme Court

WASHINGTON –– The Supreme Court ordered former President Clinton disbarred from practicing law before the high court on Monday and gave him 40 days to contest the order.

The court did not explain its reasons, but Supreme Court disbarment often follows disbarment in lower courts.

In April, Clinton's Arkansas law license was suspended for five years and he paid a $25,000 fine. The original disbarment lawsuit was brought by a committee of the Arkansas Supreme Court.

There are no fines associated with the Supreme Court action. Most lawyers who are admitted to the Supreme Court bar never actually argue a case there, but the right to do so is considered an honor.

Clinton agreed to the Arkansas fine and suspension Jan. 19, the day before he left office, as part of an understanding with Independent Counsel Robert Ray to end the Monica Lewinsky investigation.

The agreement also satisfied the legal effort by the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct to disbar Clinton for giving misleading testimony in the Paula Jones sexual harassment case.

WASHINGTON  — President Bush on Monday signed a bill that would bar condominium and homeowner associations from restricting how the American flag can be displayed.

Sponsored by Rep. Roscoe Bartlett, R-Md., the resolution would prohibit those groups from preventing residents from displaying an American flag on their own property.

It was passed unanimously by both the House and the Senate.

"Americans have long flown our flag as an expression of their appreciation for our freedoms and their pride in our nation," Bush said in a statement. "As our brave men and women continue to fight to protect our country overseas, Congress has passed an important measure to protect our citizens right to express their patriotism here at home without burdensome restrictions.
